Brazzaville, a band that has created a huge buzz with every concert in Istanbul and has captured the hearts of all music lovers in Turkey with their album "Brazzaville in Istanbul," released on the Doublemoon label, is a significant group that has managed to create its own style.

David Brown's musical identity was shaped by buying a saxophone with the money he saved and traveling the world. After working with artists like Beck and Siouxe Sioux, Brown gave up the saxophone and switched to acoustic guitar, forming the band Brazzaville. Combining alternative rock music with ethnic jazz touches, David Brown and his band, while sometimes referencing Tom Waits and Morphine, also incorporate bossa nova, jazz, and dub elements.

Brazzaville, which has songs like "Hills of Anatolia," "Bosphorus," and "Taksim," all influenced by Turkey and Istanbul, is also reuniting with its fans with the classic song "Jesse James," the music video for which was filmed on the Bosphorus.
