100% Metal proudly presents: the legendary heavy/power metal band Savatage, performing in Istanbul for the first time! On July 19, 2026, at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Sahnesi, Zak Stevens (vocals), Al Pitrelli and Chris Caffery (guitar), Johnny Lee Middleton (bass), and Jeff Plate (drums), will showcase their unique style, blending elements of progressive, power, and classic hard rock.

Savatage began their journey in Tampa, Florida, in 1983. Through their work, they changed the face of the genre: the cult albums “Hall of the Mountain King” (1987) and “Streets” (1991), as well as “Edge of Thorns” and “Dead Winter Dead” (1995), released after the loss of Chris Oliva, added even greater depth to the band’s music.

Savatage’s concert in Istanbul will be both the first in the band’s 40-year career and an unforgettable event for metal fans.
