One of Lifepark's most beloved events, Jazz & Picnic in the Forest, returns for its 5th edition on Sunday, May 10, 2026. And the calendar holds a wonderful surprise: May 10, 2026 is also Mother's Day.

This special day, taking place in the shade of trees, accompanied by birdsong and the peaceful rhythm of nature, awaits music lovers with a packed program bringing together different colors of jazz. For those looking for the "best gift" for Mother's Day, it offers a special event experience that will create lasting memories, be elegant, and make you feel good.

The program, spread throughout the day, will feature a variety of special names and groups. Leyanner Chibas Duporte, with their energetic rhythms originating from Cuba, will provide an enthusiastic opening to the music day in the forest. The legendary Turkish jazz guitarist Önder Focan will be on stage with his powerful vocalist Cansu Nihal Akarsu. Kerem Görsev, one of the pioneering pianists of Turkish jazz, will be on stage with his Quartet (Engin Recepoğulları – saxophone, Volkan Hürsever – contrabass, Ferit Odman – drums), formed with master musicians with whom he has shared the stage for many years. Görsev's repertoire, predominantly featuring original compositions, also includes elegant interpretations of classic American jazz standards from jazz history. The day will conclude with the Elif Çağlar Quartet, offering a refined repertoire and contemporary jazz interpretations, providing a fitting and elegant closing to Mother's Day.

Participants can bring their own camping chairs, picnic baskets, and food; they can also enjoy the delicious offerings in Lifepark's extensive food and beverage areas. Children under 12 can attend for free.

General tickets and picnic tables for four are on sale for a limited time at discounted prices.

Event Rules:
*Table seating will be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Participation is free for children under 12 years old.
*Participants may bring food and drinks to the event, excluding alcoholic beverages. In accordance with TAPDK regulations, alcoholic beverages can only be sold by the establishment.
*Bringing barbecues and similar flammable devices into the area is prohibited. *Guests who wish to do so may bring portable picnic chairs. *Entry with tents, picnic tables, or umbrellas is not permitted.
*There are also sales stands selling barbecue meatballs, hamburgers, etc. within the area. *You can attend the festival with your furry friends, provided they are on a leash.
*The event gates open at 12:00.
